NSW SLASA organised a camp in 2023 which was mainly for the the Spanish and Latin Youth population. This camp was based on learning about leadership and how they can make a change within their community.

As Australia has by far the highest ratio of international students per head of population in the world by a large margin, with international students representing on average 26.7% of the student bodies of Australian universities there needs to be support in place.

Many International students struggle with: 

- Culture Shock

- Accommodation

- Academic Pressure

- Employment Opportunities

- Discrimination

The youth then proposed this project to help the international students by providing them accessible and free resources such as services and support available for these students.

These include information regarding accommodation, clothes and furniture, food/pantry services, health and welfare, travel and support, etc.
